Alpha Management Group secured the feature story "Spotting Leopards” with World Magazine. The article highlighted the African Leopard Project (see Film).

Cindy Castano was featured in an autobiographical article that highlighted her work in Sudan.  Photographs shot by Ms. Castano of slaves in bondage and those newly freed were highlighted in the multi-page article (See In the Media).

Ms. Castano secured a permanent photographic exhibit for the African Leopard Project photographs at the South African Embassy in Beijing, China.  The Ambassador of South Africa held a special reception for diplomats to launch the exhibit.

Ms. Castano secured a touring photographic exhibit for the African Leopard Project that launched in Charlotte, NC with a fund raiser at Quail Hollow Country Club.  A silent auction was held that benefited a conservation project in Kenya.  The exhibit was displayed at Discovery Place Museum, Bank of America Headquarters, Christenbury Eye Center, and was billed for one year at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.  The exhibit is available for display upon request.

Ms. Castano teamed with the far-out world-renowned British motorcycle journalist and racer to review top motorcycles.  Ms. Castano photographed all action shots while the bike, ridden by Mr. Bayly, zoomed at full speed.

TAKE BACK CHARLOTTE:

Ms. Castano utilized her photographic talents working undercover to expose obscene activities during an annual event held in a public park in Charlotte, NC.  As a result of the photographs, a report was presented to City Council and the annual event was cancelled to future bookings.
